This Privacy Policy applies to our BudwigCourse.com domain (called our Domain) and Teachable School (called our School), including all products, services or activities offered there.
We deeply respect your right to privacy. Like you, we don’t appreciate when data is collected without a clear purpose or used without consent. That’s why we take this issue seriously and want to be fully transparent about how we handle your personal information.
You may visit our School or Domain anonymously. You may also refuse to supply personal identification information when asked, but doing so may prevent you from engaging in certain Domain or School-related activities.

2. What data do we collect?
We collect your personal identification information only if you voluntarily submit such information to us.
We collect only the data that is truly necessary, for purposes such as:

- enrolling in the School or a Course within the School or Domain,
- using other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School or Domain,
- sending you a newsletter (if you subscribe),
- improving website performance (e.g. using cookies).
This may include:
- your name,
- email address,
- phone number,
- address (for delivery or accounting),
- technical data related to your visit (e.g. IP address, browser type, device, operating system).
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 years of age. If you believe that a child has provided us with their data, please contact us immediately.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applicable in the European Union. Our legal bases for processing come from our legitimate interests and include:
- To comply with legal obligations, including accounting and tax obligations,
- To perform a contract, including product or service delivery, e.g. enrolling in the School or a Course within the School or Domain,
- To respond to your inquiries, questions, or other requests for maintaining a customer relationship before and after the sale,

4. How long do we keep your data, and how do we protect it?
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. In particular:
- Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe,
- Orders/enrollments and customer service: for the duration of the contract and applicable statutory retention periods (e.g. for accounting),
- Contact form/messages: for the duration of the contract or up to 12 months after the last contact, unless further storage is required for legal purposes,

Cookies: depending on the type, from the session duration up to 24 months (see section 6 below).
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include secure data transmission (e.g. SSL encryption), restricted access to personal data, password-protected systems, regular software updates, and cooperation only with trusted, GDPR-compliant service providers. We also ensure that only authorised personnel have access to your personal information.
You may request the deletion of your data at any time (see section 5).
5. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- access your data,
- correct or update your data,
- delete your data (“right to be forgotten”),
- restrict processing,
- transfer your data to another service,
- object to data processing,
- withdraw consent at any time (if given),
- file a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
In Poland, the supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) – uodo.gov.pl.

6. Cookies
Our website uses cookies – small text files stored on your device – to ensure proper functioning, improve performance, and enhance your user experience.

We treat your data with full confidentiality.
We never sell, trade, or rent your data to others.
We may disclose your data to governmental institutions if we are obliged to.
We may share your data with trusted third parties only for a valid reason related to our contract, including:
- shipping companies (to deliver your order),
- payment service providers (e.g. PayPal, Stripe),
- newsletter/email service providers (e.g. MailerLite, Mailchimp),
- analytics or marketing partners (only if you consent via the cookie banner).
We only work with partners who are GDPR-compliant and respect your privacy as much as we do.

You may find advertising or other content in our School or Domain that link to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School or Domain.
In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our User, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time if necessary – e.g. when we improve our services, change the platform, introduce new functions or are obliged by changes in the law.

In case of material changes, we will notify you on this page (with a clearly indicated date of change), or by email. You are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
